Privacy Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
Dandelions is a new project, run for now by its founder. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect when you pledge at dandelions.lol and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address. We use it to confirm your pledge and to let you sign in.
- Your ZIP code. We use it to count pledges by area.
- That you said you're 18 or older, and when.
- Who referred you, if you came from someone's link.
- Basic technical records our providers keep to run the site, like the time you signed in.
We don't collect your name, address, phone number, or payment information. We don't use advertising trackers.
What we show publicly
Only counts. A map may show how many people have pledged in an area. We never show your email or anything that identifies you.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We use a few services to run the site, and they handle your data only to do that job:
- Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in.
- Resend sends our emails.
- DigitalOcean hosts the website.
We would share information if the law requires it.
Emails
Right now we only send the emails you ask for, like your confirmation link. If we ever start sending updates, each one will have a way to unsubscribe.
Age
Dandelions is for people 18 and older. If we learn someone under 18 has pledged, we'll delete their information.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you pledged with and we'll take care of it.
Security
Your data is stored with database rules that keep each member's record private. No system is perfect, so we collect as little as we can.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is important, we'll tell members by email first.
